Last Thursday I had a wonderful evening at the Scottish Rural Awards Ceremony at Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh! Due to the wonderful support of customers, family and friends, Tangle Weave Designs had been nominated for best 'Business Start Up'!The Scottish Rural Awards are sometimes more commonly known as the 'rural oscars' and look to celebrate innovative, dedicated and passionate businesses thriving in the rural areas. The awards have been developed by the Scottish Countryside Alliance together with The Scottish Field and look to showcase the strength of Scottish rural industry.Judged by an esteemed panel of experts and industry leaders, the decision making process is rigorous, and competition fierce.It was therefore a true privilege to find out on the night that Tangle Weave Designs had been chosen as one of the six finalists! It really was a true honour to be recognised amongst the strong competition.A huge congratulations to Tweed Valley Fruit Trees who went on to win the award!Here's a picture of me with my parents who came along with me to the ceremony!
