In the lead up to the launch of the Great Interior Design Challenge which is hitting our screens again on MONDAY 1st FEBRUARY (I can’t wait!!) I have been immersing myself in a variety of interior design images on the theme of ‘countries’. This has helped me to create a list of very differing and influential decorating styles. This has been inspiring me greatly with preparing a mood board for our new interior styling plans for our living room.
Here are 10 different styles I would like to share with you to help influence how you decorate your home:
i love the pastel colours, open airy welcoming feel, fresh flowers and charm.
Here I love the clean lines, functionality, white utilities, and splash of red berries
Perhaps I’m biased, but I just love the subtle tartan and hints of heather. Look at the detail in the lampshade stands!
I love the rich, bold, exotic feel, warm colours helping to reflect warmth and opulence!
Gorgeous attention to embroidering, details, colours and vibrancy!!!
Coastal, light, breezy, relaxed, LOVE it.
Gorgeous attention to flower decoration, curving lines, rich bold colours, touches of gold and beads.
Line, form, minimalism, use of space, using geometry, nature and materials, wonderful impact.
Relaxed, comfortable, familiar, cosy!
Grand, detailed woodwork, elegant.
So which style is your favourite?!
