Sourcing Scottish Interiors

Today I have been creating mood boards which look to pull together interiors scheme ideas. Every mood board I’ve been creating highlights several Scottish interiors brands which I believe share the same ethos which I hold behind my textile collection at ‘Mairi Helena‘, of authenticity, luxurious quality, commitment to creativity, inspired by nature and contemporary.

I like to think they’re IN MY TRIBE, speaking to an audience who share a love for innovative Scottish design, are inspired by the story, the textures and colours of the Scottish landscapes as well as seek beautiful, well-made sustainably ethical products.

So today I thought I’d share my first concept mood board with you all which focuses on the theme of ‘creating a home with plenty of hygge’. Here are my ideas on styling a space using fabrics, furniture and accessories sourced from contemporary Scottish interior brands.
